Does being a leader of the church mean you should only lead those who are IN the church?
Does the focus fall on the haves and hope that others remember the have-nots?
Who can be trusted to be the leaders for the ones not totally considered 'core' yet still active in the church?
Give leaders support and attainable goals and expectations.
Be proactive in building leaders. the saying "You can lead a horse to water but can't make it drink" may be true, rest assured it will take a sip when it starts to feel thirsty. If you have presented yourself as a safe and trustworthy well, the parched and weary person will know where to drink.
